After a few hours he saw a picture with water in it, but when the crow put it speak into the picture, he found that there was very little water left and he could not reach far enough down to get at it. He tried to push the picture down to its side to let the water out, but it was too heavy. He tried and he tried. He almost gave up and thought about flying away to continue searching for water. Then he scanned around and thought to himself, mm hmm, what else can I do? He saw an abundance of rocks and pebbles lying around and he had a fantastic idea. He took a pebble and dropped it into the picture. Then he took another pebble and dropped that into the picture. Then he took another pebble and dropped that into the picture. Then he dropped another one like that. one x 1. He dropped many pebbles into the picture with each pebble. The water rose higher and higher, and at last the water was near enough for the crew to drink
