Alright, so we are absolutely thrilled to be with Shana Bradford licensed medical aesthetician and master aroma therapist today on the pod. So with no further Ado Shauna, this podcast is all about us getting out of the way, giving you an uninterrupted platform to share your stories and the lessons that you've learned along the way, both personal and professional. So let's start with your story and how you got to where you are today. Thank you. My journey started 20 plus years ago. So I've been in the beauty industry for quite some time now and I'm a licensed medical aesthetician, also a master Aroma therapist. And throughout my career I have represented some of the top beauty brands in the world. on international platforms. I've also worked with the top plastic surgeons in the world and dermatologists and physicians um working with patient post care treatment, clinical trial studies, product formulations, um merchandizing, retailing um events. So I've pretty much kind of done it all just to paint that picture and I've gotten to where I am now by working hard and staying dedicated to my craft and love for aesthetics and you know caring for patients um before and after they've had um surgery or procedures done evasive and also non evasive. Um so my advice, you know, to anyone that is pretty much really interested in whatever field that they're in, continue to work hard, continue to align yourself with professionals um that know the business and never stop getting the education, you know, the education is the drive because industries do change a lot and so you just want to make sure that whatever changes are taking place in your field of expertise, that you're, you know, you're in tune with what's going on, you know? Um and just keep a positive attitude, you know, know what you wanna do and seek out other like minded people and it happened for you. All right, thank you for sharing your story and I don't wanna interrupt too much. Like we shared earlier, this podcast is all about us getting out of the way to give you a chance to share two gems of wisdom lessons that you've learned. One lesson from your professional life, one lesson from your personal life. And so let's start with your professional life lesson. Um If you can share one lesson with us and give us all the fun details of the story about how you learned that lesson. Okay, so one professional lesson that I learned was always being ready and always being on time and being confident and owning the room. So I had a presentation that I was doing and my audio wasn't working. Everything seemed like it was just falling apart and I could have just stopped, but I didn't, I actually continue to go through with the whole entire training and I used different props that I had to engage my audience and at the end of the training I got a standing ovation, believe it or not in my mind, I was thinking, oh man, this was not a good look. Um did they even received the information that I was trying to relate to them? Um and I was a little, you know, upset with myself, but what was I gonna do? Audio, not working computer, um not going through the presentation properly. So my lesson was push forward, even in the most uncomfortable situations, push forward, remain calm, remain confident and things will all work out. Um and that's one lesson that I'll never forget because after that uh I never had it happen again, but I've always just being mindful to print out my whole presentation and that's a good word of advice. How about a lesson and story from your personal life, So story from my personal life is being a ceo and founder of a amazing aromatherapy company um I often find myself, I have products that I carry with me for collateral because you just never know um when you might want to prospect or um you might want to just drop off a sample for a client or for um you know, a new doctor's office um and one day I was actually in the store um it was a clothing store and there was a lady in the clothing store, she was rambling on and on and everybody was just kind of like walking away from her but I actually started talking to her and what I found out was that she was um having some issues with her breast augmentations um to the point where she was reconsidering getting them taken out. And funny thing, I remember that I had put a bottle of um the apple peptide complex in my purse, which is a product that we have. That is absolutely amazing for post care treatment for breast augmentations for someone that is having breast discomfort or post pregnancy. Um It's just one of those products that you feel it and it feels amazing the benefits are out of this world because it has a blend of different antioxidants and amino peptides and plant stem cells and it smells delicious and I remember giving her a bottle and I was telling her how to use it, you know if she decided that she was going to go and have her breast augmentations taken out. So bottom line, you know we were actually done talking, you know she gave me this big hug and she was like thank you, it was just meant for me to meet you and I was I felt so good inside, like I felt good because I handed her a product that I know it's been tested um it's one of the most favorable products that we have in our skews and I knew that it was going to help her, but the hug, it just made my day and it made me really happy. And so that was a personal experience that I had um that, you know, I was like, I guess you're always working, even when you're not working, but it was just good that I was glad I had that bottle of apple peptide complex in my person. I was able to hand it off. So good lesson. Alright, perfect. So I really appreciate you sharing all these stories with us and the wisdom and the knowledge and the insight, all of that.
