I see walter and josie almost every day when I'm skating. Did you know that a dog smells something like 10,000 times stronger than human nose? I read that somewhere and when a dog goes blind, a sniffer gets even better, Josie has lots of sniffs. So she does what I called a three part till that's when josie discovers something that smells so good. She just can't pass it up and let's walter knows she isn't ready to move on with her walk. If walter does pull or tug, josie just tips over so she can finish that smith. The other day, I was coming around a corner on my skates and Josie had just dived head first into some ivy walter. Was pulling with all his might, which isn't very much because walter is an old man. So I stopped to help him.
