Glenn Douglas, known as a D, was born January 20th 1955 The second born of five siblings to Thomas Douglas, his father in Odessa. Douglas, his mother at the age of 65. A doll FIS a beloved father, grandfather, Sun, brother, nephew, uncle, cousin and friend went home to be with the Lord on December 10th, 2020 and Fort Worth, Texas A D who was born and raised in Fort Worth, Texas. Ah, large city with a small community field and a big heart, has been an advocate for faith, family and friends. He was reared in a home where he was taught to fear the Lord and be kind to others. He confessed his faith in Christ, believing in the Lord Jesus as his personal savior and was baptized at an early age. From an early age, he was known as the black cowboy. He was loved and admired by many who knew him. He had an infectious smile and warm spirit, and A D enjoyed spending time with his family, friends, cooking and his love for horses. A Dollfus Glenn Douglas attended Dunbar High School in Fort Worth, Texas, but later decided to attend Polytechnic High School in Fort Worth, Texas, where he graduated in 1974. After graduation, A D decided to enlist in the United States Marine Corps, where he received the National Defense Service medal and a rifle marksman badge. After serving his country and honoring his family, he returned home to his beloved Fort Worth, Texas, and just say, as a disabled veteran, A D lived his life to the fullest with intense passion. He believed in having God in his life focus, perseverance and embracing others as he would have wanted to be treated. His parents, Thomas Douglas, his father, Odessa Douglas, his mother, and James Reto Oliver, his brother, all preceded him in death. Our black cowboy Adolphus Glenn A. D. Douglas leaves to cherish his loving memories. Three sons, Jamerson de L. Phillips and wife Candice of Alvarado, Texas Terrance Jackson wife Marsha of Houston, Texas, and Jared Dorsey, wife Samara of Fort Worth, Texas. Two daughters, Liquid a. Hatton and husband, Jason, of California and Tiffany Taylor of Fort Worth, Texas. One sister, Olga Sharon Douglas of Arlington, Texas. Two brothers, Stephen Anthony Douglas Johnson of Carrollton, Texas, and Vernon Marien Douglas of Fort Worth, Texas. His special friends and brothers from other mothers, Larry Fowler of Fort Worth, Texas. Charles Barnes of Fort Worth, Texas, and Roy Weatherspoon of Rowlett, Texas, and a host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, other family and friends.
