Listening passage, the story of a nail biter. Once upon a time, there was a girl named Daisy. She was a very pretty and loving girl, but her family was annoyed because of her nail biting habit. Her mother always told her not to bite her fingernails as they carry germs. She told her the more you bite, there are more chances of getting a nail infection and even a stomach infection. She warned her how these germs affect our teeth too. But Daisy didn't stop. Sometimes Daisy bit her nails when she was worried and sometimes without any reason at all, she enjoyed biting her nails without caring about getting an infection. One day, Daisy got really sick because of her nail biting habit to stop her. Her father bought a no bite nail cream and he put it on her nails. The moment Daisy started to bite, it started to burn on her lips a little. So she stopped it. Her mother also gave her a fidget spinner to play with to divert her attention slowly. She gave up on her habit of biting nails. All thanks to her parents.
