This is a generator. The generator has two simple parts, a stater and a rotor. Both the stater and the rotor are made up of tightly wound coils of copper wire. The rotating turbine shaft spins the rotor inside the stater. When the rotor starts spinning, it's charged with a little bit of electricity that makes the rotor act like a magnet to create a magnetic field. The rotors. A magnetic field pushes electrons through the status copper wire. When electrons move, that's called electricity, this transforms the generators mechanical energy into electrical energy.
