My horoscope in the London Free Press the day I was born said that I would have a unique voice. Since the age of 9 telemarketers would always mistake me for my parents. My family will also never let me live down when I was 16 answering the phone and my best friend thought I was his father. Anecdotes like these were so common in my life that I could be either be constantly embarrassed or embrace my voice. I chose the later and I'm so glad I did because it has truly led me to some great places.

I grew up studying theatre and acting here in London with many productions at The Arts Project, Fringe Festivals and high school projects. I took Film Studies at Western University but decided I wanted to be in front of the camera so I graduated studying acting at The Toronto Film School. It was there where my greatest and most intense vocal training happened with some amazing industry professionals. I have been in over 20 union tv shows and films as a background actor in Toronto while work gaining experience on film sets. I was able to join the AABP Actra union which I am still a member of. I still to this day do occasional work on set but I missed expressing my voice! The sole job of a background actor is to be quiet. I learned great patience and industry experience doing that work but it just isn't enough. As countless cab drivers, bartenders and hair stylists have told me, I should get my voice out there. I am ready and excited to do that work.
