Hello, everybody. Welcome to another tutorial episode. In this video. We're gonna learn how to open a new folder in Windows, so let's begin. Step one, move your mouse to the task bar, which is right at the very bottom, and click on the magnifying glass icon on the left hand side. You will see a text box saying Type here to such. Move the cursor over to the text box and type the words File Explorer and hit. Enter once your in file Explorer on your left hand side as a family. Select the icon this PC, and it drops down, displaying several other icons until you find the local drives. Now select the drive within which you would want to include the new folder. However, if you want to include the new folder within and already existing folder under one of your drives, click on that particular folder. Let's say, for example, under the D Drive. I have this folder job search, and here I would like to include the new folder, which would work as a sub folder under the job search folder. Now who are the mouse over the job search folder and right click you will see a side menu. Select the option New on the right hand side of new, you will find an option called Folder. Select this now. As soon as you've selected folder, you will see a new folder placed right under job search folder. And Windows has automatically highlighted the name of the new folder as new folder, giving you an option at this moment to change the name and rename it to the name of your choice. Now, under this, I'm going to type in the words 2020. And once I'm done with renaming, I just moved out of the folder and click the mouse. And there you have it.
