The great Bat drove the strange woman away and caused paul Renfield to faint from fright. The bat that had come into the room suddenly disappeared, and a smiling figure of Count Dracula stood in its place. Dracula was ready to claim his prize, and once bitten, Renfield became his slave. The evil Count took coffins filled with Transylvanian earth and loaded them aboard a ship in England, the boat docked and the entire crew was dead. Yet Renfield was left alive as a raving madman.
