I'm having a weird time deciding where to begin this week. If I'm being honest, do I go chronologically or do I just talk about this stuff that really made a huge impact this week? I guess for it to make sense, we could start from Saturday, since that's the day the blogged left off on. Well, when we last parted ways, Sam and I were still North Carolina. Our trip had pretty much just begun, and we were spending time mostly visiting my mom and meaning our friends. The day I typed the blogged, we didn't do very much. It was a Friday, and we just wanted to rest and relax since we have been going at a fast pace since arriving. However, the following day, things got interesting. Weeks before arriving, my mom told me she wanted to throw us a party. Once we got to North Carolina, and once we had officially arrived, we found out it was planned for Saturday. That day we spent the morning going on a walk around her tiny town, taking pictures and taking in the amazing weather. We wanted some time to ourselves before the big party night. It was a cool 65 degrees and the sun was out while we took our stroll, weaving in and out of the surrounding forest via the back roads that stitched the small town together, we visited this vintage car show on our way through. We learned a little bit about the town during our walk and really felt a sense of peace while being there. Sam and I both felt that sense of peace and belonging, but more on that later, everyone in the town was so kind and welcoming. It was a common occurrence to be casually engaged in conversation with a stranger, even over the simplest things. We took our time making our way back to my mom's house, taking as many photos as we could along the way. As we arrived at the house, we knew things were just beginning for the day. We made our way inside and smelt the chili and potato soup being prepared. My mom was starting early on, preparing dinner in her trusty crockpot. We took that opportunity to work on exploring life a little bit, whether it be our Instagram or our website. We knew we had work to dio. Time really flew by as we spent that afternoon sharing stories back and forth with my mom, talking about our lives and how wonderful each day has been since Sam and I started spending them together. However, night fast approached and it was time for the party. Familiar faces from being Go nine appeared one after the other, as did some extended family that I hadn't seen in quite a long time. As they arrived, so did the booze. I laughed out loud, typing that because honestly, it was hilarious. A witness. It was a sight to behold. Sam and I, well over half the age of everyone else there about to take Jello shots and play a drinking game version of Jenga. It was just a funny as it was fun. It's not like anyone drank too much, but we just had a blast, listening to music and goofing off together. It was really nice to feel so welcomed and included. I know some of these people were family, but a lot of them weren't yet. They welcomed us like we were family. Anyways, that night I got to catch up with a lot of people, but one person in particular stuck out to me the most. Azam, if you're reading this, Thanks for being so awesome. I had a blast getting to actually know you as I was definitely too young before. They truly appreciated how cool the person you really are. I know Sam feels the same way. That night ended the same way. It began with a cool breeze in that same sense of calm that Sam and I had begun to finally mentioned out loud, we had an absolutely blast being there the next day didn't slow up much either. Same is the day before, Sam and I started the day with a bit of a walk. This time, however, we drove out to a small local park first. When we first arrived, we noticed the park was chained up, but that didn't stop us. I felt like a bit of a rebel heading inside, even though there wasn't a single sign telling us, not thio. We soon figured out the chain was just to prevent cars from getting in, So the rebels inside of us faded away yet again. There were almost no people in the park at all. When we first arrived, we basically had it all to ourselves. We took our sweet time taking as many photos as we could While the park was nearly empty. We jump from rock to rock over the small river that ended at a waterfall less than 100 yards away. It was beautiful. I love the sounds of a waterfall as it pours over the rocks and crashes into the water below. At this moment, we finally gain the courage to start our first vlog. We spend a little time fiddling with our camera before finally doing it, though we did it rather poorly. It was our first one. We know we will improve as time goes on. After all was said and done, we had a very relaxing stroll through the park before heading back to the car. At this point, we had our first discussion about whether or not we wanted to move to North Carolina, not the same town as my mom, but somewhere in the mountains. E think we came to the decision to actually do it once, or at least runs out in February, so that's a plan. We went back to my mom's house and spent the rest of the day editing photos and again working on exploring life. The last day of our vacation was finally upon us, and we knew we needed to go out with a bang. We decided to head up to the South Mountain National State Park and take a grand height to the top of the mountain and take photo and video all the way up and down. So that's what we did. We packed our equipment and started are short journey to the mountain. As we got closer, the connection on our phones came to a halt. This was it. No more outside interference. We had the mountain all to ourselves. We made the hike and got some incredible shots along the way. If you want to see those photos, be sure to check out the album or follow us on Instagram. Not much was talked about or discussed on our hike. We've spent the whole time taking it all in. All I can say is it was truly gorgeous and we got a great workout along the way. This was it, however, our last day in North Carolina. We made our way home and went to sleep as early as possible for our flight in five in the morning, we woke up a three impact our stuff, said our goodbyes to my mom, who was surprisingly still up and then made our way to the airport. The flight went well and we were finally home. We missed our pup, Rosie, and we picked her up from Sam's friend on the way to our house. The rest of the week was rather blend is we just needed some time to decompress from everything. But we did upload our first YouTube video that Thursday. Be sure to check it out on our channel. This leads us to today. Today was a big one. Truly. We finally did it. Everyone we registered exploring life is a business and got it is our official name. After a few hours of waiting at the County Clerks office, we finally took this step. This means big things for our brand in the future. If you're reading this retroactively, this was truly the beginning of the business. We have a clothing line coming out soon because of this, and we're extremely excited to share it with you. Be sure to check out our store here in the near future anyways, on all this week was a packed one. I hope you enjoyed staying up to date with us because we're truly proud to share it with you. Be sure to follow toe, learn more next week.
