Description

A triangle with all sides equal is called equilateral, a triangle with two sides equal is called isosceles, and a triangle with all sides a different length is called scalene. A triangle can be simultaneously right and isosceles, in which case it is known as an isosceles right triangle.

Matt's chapter six triangles, Glass tent, part one. Hello, students. Hope you're fine. We're going to start Chapter six triangles as we know two figures aside to be congruent if they have the same shape and the same size. In this chapter, we shall study about those figures which have the same shape, but not necessarily the same size. Two figures having the same shape and not necessarily the same size are called similar figures. In particular, we shall discuss the similar of triangles and apply this knowledge in giving a simple proof of Pythagoras theorem learned earlier. Let's talk about similar figures. Two similar figures have the same shape, but not necessarily the same size. All these circles are similar. All the square are similar. Let's talk about congruent figures. Two figures are congruent. If they have same shape and size, the falling figures are congruent from the above. We can say that all congruent figures are similar, but the similar figures need not be congruent. Two polygons of the same number of sites are similar 0.1, they're corresponding, angles are equal and point to their corresponding sites are in the same ratio or proportion. Let's consider an example, as these figures satisfy about conditions, they are said to be similar polygons. Let's solve a question state whether the falling quadri laterals are similar or not. Two polygons of the same number of sites are similar. If 0.1, all the correspondents angles are equal, and 0.2, all the correspondents sites are in the same ratio or proportion.
