He climbs up a ladder to his red roof at the top. Papa kneels beside a square hole. Popeye tosses the bricks high then cements them in places they land creating a chimney. Now my house is finished. Popeye puffs out his chest and slides down the ladder. He picks up a green mailbox atop a wooden post. Popeye carries it outside the front gate beside the white picket fence. Popeye's eyes grow huge as a swarm of tiny black dots march out from underneath the mailbox. A magnifying glass shows fierce brown bugs with sharp white teeth. The termites change direction. Oh my gosh. He slams the gate shut and leans against it. The cloud of termites eat the wooden gate around him. Then began munching the wooden walkway. He leaps from the Popeye shaped gate. Popeye grips a metal bucket as they finish, he slams the lid on, carrying the trapped termites. Popeye swaggers through the front gate grinning. He sets the bucket on the dirt road. Popeye struts away.
