Just starting out with Voice Overs. Or rather hopefully starting out. I tried years ago and bought a hour long session with Jamie Muffet to learn a few tiny bits and pieces of what its like to do Voice Overs. Fast forward a few years after my health stabilized and now I am finally able to try again.
What I like the most in a Voice Over is taking a step out of my shoes or Crocs in my case, and getting into the role of a character. I'd like to think I can bring something, be it a character from an Animation or a character in a game, to life. Some are easier than others but I feel as though I am always learning and I don't think that will ever stop. Which is a good thing.
I have been informed numerous times from the people I meet while at work, that I have a fantastic Voice for radio. Probably the face too, but that's another topic. Although I would prefer to step into a characters shoes, I am absolutely available for Ad reads for anything as long as I can pronounce whatever it is I am reading an ad for in the first place.
