About Carla

I have lived and worked with my family and husband for more than half of my life in Haiti and have done as a professional much translation work which has my voice out there through simultaneous translations over the 30+ years we have lived there.

I have worked as a professional simultaneous translator in Haiti for over 20 years. I have worked with major radio and television companies including the BBC, NPR, NYTimes, CBC, for NGO's visiting Haiti as well as translating for my own foundation's staff in Haiti for our work orienting visitors to the language, culture and history of Haiti.
