I started out reading aloud to kids as an elementary teacher, which has lead me to start my own read aloud podcast for kids. I enjoy reading a variety of characters and tones. I used to teach phonetics training and speaking courses for international students at the university to improve oral English communication skills as part of my applied linguistics and TESOL degree. From this experience, I have a strong understanding of different registers and tones and excellent command of the English language for a variety of voice types and roles. I can speak in lower and higher tones to sound younger or older for a variety of audiences. I am able to read many challenging texts with very few errors or mistakes on a first read. I am also bilingual and fluent in German, which has furthered my abilities in code-switching, tones, and stress on words to transform a simple sentence into a pleasurable listening experience.
