Hi, my name is Charl. I am a high school English teacher and now starting my journey as a voice actor.
To be able to keep teenagers engaged when reading novels and plays is not an easy task, so different inflections, tone variation, pace variance, sticking to the intended emotion, projection, are all important factors. Where no specific direction is given, it is always a good idea to go with your gut instinct, and if that doesn't work, you try again with a different approach. I would like to lend my voice to animation and video games above all, but I am open to honing my craft to be able to cover any needed category.
