Hi there. Thanks for purchasing an echo be switch plus in this video we'll show you how to get it up and running first. Let's make sure you have everything you need to successfully install your switch, then we'll remove your old switch, identify your wiring, connect your new switch and finally test it. By the time you're done you should see this Step 1 1st Things 1st. You'll be turning off your power so you might want to install it during the day. Here's what's in the box. The echo be switch plus and mounting screws, wall plate, wire, nuts and set up instructions. If you don't see any screws, it might be clipped onto your switch. In that case, pop off the plate. Then using a screwdriver, amount your old switch and disconnect the wires loosen the screws so you can unwrap the wires, then straighten the wire hooks, pull out the wires. That'll make identifying them a lot easier if you have wire caps, unscrew them. Time to identify your wiring. With a clear view of your wiring setup, you should see four different types of wires. You'll need at least one neutral wire to be compatible. They typically are white and come as either a single wire or a pair. If you don't see any, this location isn't compatible. Don't worry. You could try other locations in your home. The ground wire is typically an exposed copper or green wire if you don't have one, that's okay, we'll show you how to use your wall box to ground your new switch in a later step
