some Comey seaweed. Others call me Bull Kelp. I live in a magical underwater forest, which are among the most productive places on Earth, supporting a huge range of marine life. My forests are vital nursery grounds, giving sanctuary to the young of many commercial fish as they feed and hide among my Franz. And if you were lucky, you might glimpse a salmon or a playful harbor seal. My kelp forests are so special that I am one of the most biodiverse environments on the planet, home to thousands of species, from Dungeness crabs searching for food on my forest floor to herring hiding beneath my canopy. Every part of my remarkable forest is used by the creatures here, my Franz air, home to tiny animals like thes see furs filtering plankton from the water like coral reefs. My forest create an oasis of life wherever I grow. Humans are discovering my underwater forests are vital not just for sea life but in climate change. Reaching up towards the sun, my franz lock up vast amounts of carbon as I grow Mike, help forest draw down more than 600 million tons of carbon. Therefore, I can reduce climate change. I stabilize sentiments and can actually mitigate or reduce wave energy by up to 70%. And as a consequence of that carbon being drawn into my Kelt, I will pump out lots of oxygen and oxygenate the water and create a whole biodiversity for wildlife to survive.
