I’m new to voice overs but I’ve always been described by others as having a soothing or calming voice. In any group projects, I was always chosen as the speaker or narrator because of this. I work with kids so I can easily change pitch and tone to match, and fluctuate between a calming or excitatory voice, as well as a few character impersonations here and there. Education and teaching are a strong suit for me as most my experience has been with professional presentations and instruction. As a therapist, I have to be able to understand and be in tune with my clients emotions, which can change how I speak to them depending on their mood. I’ve always wanted to voice a character for a book as I am an avid reader, and I am constantly creating voices and accents in my head while I’m reading. I do have a lower tone voice but I’m able to be more high pitched, soft spoken, etc.
