My normal "speaking voice" is clear, deep and resonant. As a professional journalist, I am articulate and I have the ability to speed up or slow down my tempo as the situation would require. As deep and powerful as my voice is, I also possess elasticity. I can reach higher pitches and sound feminine or drop low and be very masculine. I grew up in New England and Florida and have lived in Upstate New York for 16 years. Those experiences afford me a multitude of accents, impersonations and characters. As part of my profession, I am a skilled writer and a fast and diligent worker. Journalism requires an intense pace and I meet multiple deadlines quickly on a daily basis.
