Prologue New Orleans, 1939, Rachel Moma. Where you at? I was standing right in the foyer, Dustin, as was my usual routine. Eyes right here, chilly old man. I answered in my fake, real accent, causing her to spin around in my direction with a wide grin. If she wasn't the spitting image of me, I didn't know who could be. We both heavily carried our afro caribbean ancestors, features both with brown skin, long curly hair and slanted as it got us both lots of attention from the men, folk around here and their wives. The latter didn't take too kindly to us, but we went on about life, smiling and treating them the same way we would any other neighbor.
