Diego Curvêlo

Diego Curvêlo graduated in Journalism from the Federal University of Paraíba and took a course in Video Production at Escola Superior de Propaganda e Marketing. Passionate about communication, he began his career at age 19, presenting a weekly humor program on Arapuã FM radio in João Pessoa. He then worked for some advertising agencies, spent two and a half years on African soil creating campaigns for major Angolan brands and is currently a partner and creative director of Martpet Comunicação, one of the most respected advertising agencies in the North / Northeast, with 20 years of history and units in Recife, João Pessoa and Fortaleza.

Even though he had a solid career in advertising, he did not abandon his passion for radio and commercial phrases. He has performed in sports and humor programs on Transamérica and Rádio Cidade radio stations and continues to record advertising locutions throughout Brazil. In 2008, he became part of the cast of the Imitadores do Brasil website (currently off the air) and soon afterwards began to be invited to participate in national TV programs.

In 2010, he joined his vocation as a communicator and copycat with his experience as an advertising copywriter and began to rise to the stage to do stand-up comedy. Two years later, he was again invited to participate in stand-up and improvisational TV contests. In 2013, he decided to take time off the comedy stages to devote himself more to the family and the advertising market, returning to act as a comedian only in 2015. That same year, he switched his vacation to live a transformative experience in one of the biggest and best agencies of advertising in the world, Almap BBDO.

Throughout his career, he has also given numerous lectures at universities and participated in communication events and debates, but always informally. At the end of 2015, he felt the need to share his knowledge and entrepreneurial posture, becoming more effective as a speaker.
