Teagan Myers

Hi! my name is Teagan Myers. I am 20 years old and I live in Canada. I love being weird, helping others out, filming and creating youtube videos and love making quirky voices in my free time.

I have always wanted to get back into voice acting since I started back in 2016 and even before that, I used to do some voices on my animations on a program called Flipnote Studio and I would post it to an audience on the service called Flipnote Hatena (which is now shut down).

Some more work I did with voice acting was on a fan comic an old friend made and I voiced a darker deeper character for it for several months. It wasn't the best I could've done due to just starting out but It's what got me started into voice acting and it was so much fun working on that project.
But sadly due to getting a job in 2017, starting school in 2018, and other personal things happening in my life, A lot of my time was now occupied. It made me lose focus on the things I loved doing and I always thought I couldn't do what love due to this thought of being busy. Not that having a job and doing school is a bad thing, in fact, I love what I am doing in college but it just occupied a lot of my free time.

But with 2020. This needs to change. I am now going to continue what I love doing. Being a creative person. I am going to continue my passions with drawing, videography, and voice acting. I want to go all out. I am going to time manage my job, school, and personal life so that I can do what I love doing.

But let’s get back on the topic of voice acting.

Keep in mind I am relatively still a novice. I currently use a Blue Snowball with optimizing software with a pop filter attached. I plan on buying a proper XLR audio interface, an XLR Mic and, a mic stand in the future though. I also plan to make a new reel in the future once I get more voice opportunities and new equipment.

I will be focusing on my school work and working but I also want to do this when I do have free time but I will be more available during the summertime and during breaks which is why I want to start time managing better.
