The night is darkening around me. The wild winds coldly blow, but a tyrant spell has bound me and I cannot, cannot go. The giant trees are bending their bare bows, wahed with snow, the storage. I have the desire to call to mind. They lived not long since one of those gentlemen that keep a lance in the lance rack, an old butler, a lean hack and a greyhound for cos an of rather more beef than mutton, a salad on most nights. Welcome to Sleepless Creatives. My name is Florence. I'm an autistic actor and I made this podcast for people working in the performing arts and creative industry. I remember when I was training at drama school and I was really, really struggling with a lot of things during the rehearsals. I found each director told us the same thing which was if you're not sure, go back to your script and look at the words and that's something that I feel we can apply to our lives as people. So if you're ever in a place where you feel stuck and anxious, just pick an episode and listen to my voice and remember the words of the language you love to perform. Drift off to ambient music and the lyrical works of Shakespeare Oscar Wilde Sylvia Plath and many, many more sleepless creatives like go back to the words, the woods are lovely, dark and deep, but I have promises to keep and miles to go before I sleep and miles to go before I sleep.
