My voice has rich undertones for a female voice. Lower than most but not "low". During time working in a call center, I have had many callers tell me my voice was "nice", "pleasant to listen to" and, even once, "sexy". These characteristics were why I was chosen to do voice overs for training videos. It's hard enough to get employees to watch training videos let alone keep their attention when the voice over is hard on the ears.
When I recorded books in college, there was one student who fired the rest of his recording team because he couldn't stand their voices and asked me to do all the books for him.
