Zachary Ringler

I have been an devoted fan to Audiobooks since working at a library in college. I was able to read almost 200 books per year, outside of those required for my English major. Since then, I moved to Japan and taught English as a second language and have gown to love teaching and using my voice to entertain my students. I came to a point in my teaching career that left me feeling like I could do more with my voice(s) and try to branch out into professional acting or voice acting. It will have to be part-time until I can make the jump to voice acting full-time. One type of audiobook that has recently grabbed my attention has been the LitRPGs. The way they bridge the game reality with that of our own is just magnificent. I can picture myself working on one of those books and bringing life and imagination to the listener. I just feel sad that I won’t be able to see the joy it brings to their face. Outside of teaching, have had four acting gigs, only one of which paid me and three of which I have seen. Nothing X rated. I wouldn’t do anything rated X (on film) because I’m a father and wouldn’t want my child to see that sometime in the future. Of the acting gigs that I have done, one was on a professional set and made it into the movies. I was on the silver screen for all of one second. The other one that I’m proud of, only made it to youtube where it died in loneliness.
