Joining me in the studio is someone I grew up watching on TV, and I'm a big fan. What can I say? So joining me right now is Kermit the Frog Kermit. Welcome to ST John and welcome to 97.3 The Wave. Hey, question for you. Is Laurie in today? No, actually, she's. She's more of a Monday to Friday kind of girl. And besides that Carmen, she's married. Ah, shucks. I'm just a fan. I first time I actually heard Laurie was on the segment with Jimmy Hollywood on the morning. She and and we're talking to Jimmy and it was pretty good. But I'm not Lori's. She's really witty and funding and she doesn't take any guff. Know of anyone. Uh, I always thought began tickle to meet her. Well, speaking about ladies that don't take any guff off. What about you and Miss Piggy? Oh, yeah. But you have had a relationship for a while longer years. I mean, during the entire time the Muppet Show has been on, she's always been keeping her eye on any women that may have had their eye on her drug. She's hogging the frog, you might say. C's bringing back The Muppet Show to the small screen. So tell me, with the whole Muppet Show reboot, are you guys excited to be bringing the show back on the TV screen? I mean, the small screen I have tell you I'm thrilled I'm stoked. I remember years ago I got a letter that you mailed into the moment you and I still have you along with a lot of the other letters that little kids had sent it over the years. So it's really helped. But we're really, really excited about bring you back to the small screen. And we've got a lot of people in our quarter. And you know what? Fozzie is even gonna be reading his own jokes this time around. That's that's great. Well, along with that, maybe he won't get heckled as much as he had been with Statler and Waldorf. Now you guys are gonna be working with Bill Prady. He's the co creator of the Big Bang Theory and Bob Kushell. He's the executive producer from Anger Management thes air. Some really significantly excited to be working with those guys. Oh, absolutely thrilled, Dennis. I mean, Bob Kushell in particular with his experience working with anger management. Charlie Sheen. No, I'm an angry individuals. Yeah, that kind of an angry individual with animal. So I think that is his personal experience in his professional experience are definitely gonna come into play. Absolutely. Most people are are two characters are actually quite similar. You'll find out all right. I can't wait to see. Yeah, now it's you've already had some involvement with going really fast. Now he's done dynamite with big bang theory, and he's worked with Muppets for a long, long time with other shows that you've had included The Jim Henson, Our Muppet Classic Theater and a bunch of Yeah, sure. I mean, he he knows it's pretty well. I mean, we have dinner with him on a pretty frequent basis, and he's a really good fella, and we're just really glad that he's decided. Thio Thio kind of give us another another kick. It can, if you will. So we're really, really excited in this. Well, you know what? In Kermit, I can't thank you enough for coming by. I've been a fan of the show since I saw it as a kid. It was just really glad that you decided to hop on over here.
