I have been speaking since a young age--almost my entire life. And over the course of this life, I have practiced speaking almost daily. I will admit, the transition between childhood and adulthood really did a number on my voice, though we are back and on speaking terms.
Speaking competitively in high school and continuing the spoken work on YouTube (though with much smaller audiences now), I am competent, capable, and confident in my voice.
Oh, and let me let you in on a little secret. I'm trans. Now, whatever your opinion, stance, etc. on that may be, it means that I can voice both feminine and masculine roles. So, I have an expanded range.
