I am a new mature voice talent. I recently passed an audition and finished a paid TTS Training Project with 3 full hours of recorded audio. Scripts lasting about 3-5 minutes in length were narrative and dialogue. I used my vocal range from soft whispers through to more forceful speech. I expressed emotions such as elation, sadness, irritation, resignation, determination, scepticism, exasperation, fear and optimism.

When I was younger I studied French and Spanish, for some years, even practising pronunciation in language laboratories. Later, I taught English and French to local students in Brazil for 10 months, adding Brazilian Portuguese to my language skills. Even though I am not a native speaker of these 3 languages, I have a good working knowledge of them, mostly the spoken word.

I learned a lot from the TTS project and enjoyed the experience. I really look forward to working on similar projects and want to work on other types of voice-overs such as Audiobooks, Documentaries and E-learning.
