as you've probably noticed after watching my 1st 3 videos, I'm a weird person. I mean, just look at me. I'm some random 19 year old kid who you probably don't know, and I'm attempting to teach you valuable life lessons like I'm your dad. All I'm saying is that I am unique. So now the question is, how unique am I? So if you've ever had a friend, you would know that each individual friend has their own little quirks. At least that's what I've been told. And one of my weird quirks is that also a happy birthday to you, even when it's not your birthday. If you don't believe me, I even put Happy Birthday Adam in the Thanksgiving video. It wasn't even Adam's birthday. And for all the Adams in the world out there, whenever it is your birthday, just know that I've already told you. Happy birthday. You're welcome. But how did this start? Well, when I was in 10th grade, it was my birthday. And as all decent human being should do, my maths teacher told me Happy birthday, and as a forced habit, I told him you two, even though it wasn't his birthday, I felt so awkward. The only way to feel less awkward in an awkward situation is if you continue and stick with that awkward situation. So I suddenly the conversation with my math teacher about his birthday like, Was it today, or was I close, or how old are you turning? Unsurprisingly, the answer to all the questions were no. I didn't know it at the time, but his birthday had passed long before my birthday. So after that, every single day, I would walk into math class wishing my math teacher, happy birthday and every single day he would respond with. Sorry, it's not today. I would then ask if I was getting closer because I was curious and he would keep telling me no, because I wasn't getting closer being the weirdo that I am, I would follow up by saying that technically, I am getting closer because time is constantly moving forward. And if time is constantly moving forward, that means we're constantly getting closer and closer to your birthday. This was generally followed up with if you put this much effort into Matthew, actually be pretty smart. Hey was right. Oh, but what about weakened you can't lose him. Happy birthday on the weekends. You're right. That's why I use this thing called a Elektronik letter, also known as an email, but your bone to forget to email him some weekends. You're right. But did you forget that I'm weird? That's how you started the video. So what I did was I set up an email chain to email him every Saturday and Sunday, saying Happy were there. I was a terrible student. If my high school didn't delete in my high school email account, I would definitely show you proof. I really wish I still had that email because then I could have proven to you guys that I'm not lying. There was even this one time when my phone at the time the Sony experience that three V wasn't working. So after it's Sony's customer support, Help me. They had asked if there was anything else that could do to help me. And instead of saying no, I spent a good minute or two typing this out. I promise. I'm trying to remember to the best of my abilities what I sent to the customer service representative, and this is the recreation of what I sent him. No, man, you did a great job. I have this weird habit of wishing people happy birthday as both a greeting and a farewell. So if it is your birthday, I would like to wish you a happy birthday. Is it your birthday? Now, When I was sending him this message in my mind, I was thinking that it was gonna be this guy's birthday and he was gonna be said because no one in the office remembered his birthday. But I'm going to be his knight in shining armor and lift up his spirits as I awaited his response of Yes, it is my birthday. I've been so sad that no one remembered and I am so glad you told me. Then I see the little thingy indicating that he's typing. And what happened next was nothing short of mind boggling. He wrote, Ha! This guy who is probably working in a cubicle and probably working from nine AM to five PM and their whole entire job requires them to be this nice and compassionate and understanding character. They broke character. I mean, that's not a big deal, but it caught me off guard because I made him laugh. I don't know if it was that Ha ha ha. Where he is cringing super hard and he wants and the conversation as quickly as possible, or if it was that, Ha ha ha, where it was not that funny, but it still made you chuckle. Or if it was the ha ha where he actually was laughing. But I'll never know. He then said, No, it's not my birthday. Is there anything else you need help with? To which I said no thanks. And he ended the conversation. I really want to know what was going on in his mind. After I wished him Happy birthday, I sent the entire message in wonderful message. I didn't prepare him for anything I didn't type. I have this weird habit click enter and then finished typing the rest of the message. In another message, I didn't prepare him for the unexpected remarks that came across his computer screen that he was probably caught off guard because he didn't respond for a while. What if it was his birthday and he just thought that this question was just too personal? What if that ha ha was meant? Because it was personal, I would have left if she responded with. Do you want my credit card number, Security code and last four digits of my social Security number. Now that with thrown me off guard. Now, you know a weird quirk about me. This video was actually supposed to be about a lot of weird quirks that I have. But the birthday quirk could actually be talked about for a large amount of time. So I decided to make this video all about that. If you know me or are just getting to know me through my videos and you're trying to defend me and tell me that Oh, you're not weird. Please stop. Being weird is so much better than being normal. If I was a normal human being, I wouldn't have this hope. What they court to talk to you about being weird is what makes people like you. If you were normal, you would just be another face in the crowd. Whereas if you were in unique people would want to be with you. What makes you unique is your passions. If you follow your passions, people will like you and look up to you. So don't be normal, the unique and follow your passions. Unless your passion is being evil. Don't be evil.
