In terms of effusive praise for the narrator: I just want him to know that I had auditioned 22 local actors in my region, and no voice jumped out at me. I had specific things in mind when looking for a voice. I have been in radio broadcasting for more than 40 years, and I knew what I was seeking. I knew immediately that his voice was the right one. This was a tremendous amount of work, and I appreciate not only the narrator, but also the ease with which this project moved throughout the entire production. With my radio experience, I know what goes into making ten minutes of recording work, much less eight hours' worth. (I do a two-hour weekly radio show.) I was impressed with every step of the way during this project. Perhaps the most difficult thing for me was what I called audio proofing--listening to the recording and carefully ensuring that the book made sense on an audio level as well as on a visual level. After listening to this book I will be a permanent fan of Joe Farinacci. He's not particularly varied in his voice performance but he's very comforting and easy to listen to. Very important Book for me.
