Jonathan Murphy is a multi-character voice talent who is currently a go-to guy for California’s Great America in-park and show announcements. Murphy has voiced a variety of character types from hillbilly to surfer dude to announce that “In Just 15 Minutes” a show is about to begin. Examples throughout the park include his enthusiastic DJ announcing “PEANUTS™ Party in the Plaza,” or his over-zealous announcer presenting his affable British gent to introduce the new 2012 “The Magic Hat” Show. Murphy’s likeable guy-next-door regular voice can be heard on such attractions as Star Tower. Custom "Overlord" scripts were recorded and can be heard at Cedar Fair Entertainment's (parent company) Haunts throughout the U.S.
