I'm an old hand at live performances, I've run hours and hours of Dungeons and Dragons, and I love making up silly voices and characters for friends.

I've got a fairly broad range, and I like to work on stretching my capabilities. I work on accents, regional dialects, moods and attitudes, and I like to try to bring a lot of down-to-Earth reality to the voices I use.

When I'm listening to an ad or an online show, I feel I can tell when the actors aren't being genuine. Like they aren't really connected to what's going on, but are just sorta reading something.

I'm repelled by that lack of genuine presence and feeling. So I'm always working on being that very real and believable "real person" voice.

If I have any weakness, it's the fact that I have a hard time meeting my own standards for my performances. I always want to go for that flawless recording or that perfectly-delivered line. So I'm learning to go for quality while also getting out of my own way and improving the flow of my output.
