All the bells & whistles for ACX requirements. On top of narrating, editing, mixing & mastering, I include file splitting for individual chapters & throw-in a retail audio sample (trailer). A nice, neat & tidy package wrapped-up with a virtual bow.
Audiobooks don't tend to make use of live directed sessions. As I am an experienced narrator/producer, I've developed an expert workflow that a live directed session would simply be disruptive for your project. I do offer a checkpoint though.
To ensure that I've got the right tone & pace for your piece, I'll send along a 15 min. checkpoint to help clients pinpoint wants. That way, an entire project doesn't get delivered & need to be re-recorded as it's not what you were looking for.
I'd love to do some character voices for your book, to bring those wonderful creations to life! I've a wide vocal range & lots of creativity. Accent, pitch, pace, age & tone are just some of the variables I consider. A past book had 38 characters!
Now, audiobooks walk a fine line with audio dramas, so it's important to keep a reign on those audio nuggets. But yes; I do. Need the odd, massive bunker door close with chains & lock shut with an echo? I've done that! I'll create custom Foley/SFX.
ACX is the gold standard of audiobook production; if your book passes, it'll be meet quality control for sites like Audibles & kindle. I am well familiarized with all of their requirements, from RT book ends, to encoding, I've got the process down.
