Our story begins in a quiet Midwestern suburb on an oddly warm Saturday in March, Dane is preparing for guests visiting from out of town. She hasn't seen her old college roommates in at least five years. She bought all their dorm room favorites. Caramel rice cakes, creamy peanut butter, vanilla ice cream. Oh, and maybe a couple boxes of wine to start with, she had no idea what was coming, or she would have been preparing much differently.
