Mark E. Johnson

I have worked as a creative professional for quite a while. Over the past 30 years or so, I've made a living as (deep breath) a touring musician, Nashville songwriter, magazine editor, communications director, video editor, freelance writer, Himalayan trekking company owner, author, blogger, podcaster, and audiobook artist. In addition, I've managed to produce three entirely functional children and a wonderful marriage, with a little help from my lovely wife, Holly, of course. My voice could be described as a soothing baritone with a Southern accent that increases or decreases in strength depending upon my physical proximity to the North Carolina Appalachian mountains. I love reading, writing, and talking about history, popular culture, music, and anything funny.
