Before an election, you'll get a poll card which says where your polling station is. Polling stations are open from seven AM until 10 PM. As long as you're in the queue by 10 PM, you will be allowed to vote. When you get to the polling station, tell the staff your name and address. They will ask to see a form of accepted photo ID like a passport or driving license. Now, don't worry if your ID is out of date, you can still use it at the polling station.
