Megan Owens

Hello! My name is Megan Owens and I am located in the Kansas City, MO area. I am a recently retired educator who spent almost 30 years as a teacher, principal, and new teacher development specialist. Voiceover work is something I have always been interested in due to my love of reading to children, facilitating program sessions, and speaking to large groups of educators on a regular basis.

Although I am at the start of my VO career, I am enthusiastic, hard working, organized, and ready to go! As a new voiceover talent, I strive to be a master of vocal expression, capable of transforming written words into compelling, emotionally resonant performances. I possess exceptional vocal range, control, and clarity, which enables me to embody a wide variety of characters, moods, and tones—from warm and soothing narrations to high-energy commercials, dramatic storytelling, or quirky animated roles. I also understand pacing, inflection, and rhythm, bringing depth and nuance to every script. Also, timing is vital, whether delivering a punchline or creating suspense.
