My Voice: Mid range to deep male voice, warm and friendly with some gravelly and raspy undertones. I can read a very conversational and friendly script by bringing my voice up a few notches or execute an authoritative and commanding script well in my mostly natural voice. With a mostly naturally mid-range to deep sound and conversational style for commercial work, I can also be very confident and friendly.

I have a mixed bag of characters and cartoon / animation voices should you need cartoon, video game or animation work.

Conversational and Friendly - The Guy-Next-Door I am the guy next door with a very confident and friendly, informative and conversational approach that is great for explainer videos, corporate videos, promotional and television commercials as well as narration and podcast intros.

My natural speaking voice is very warm and slightly deep with a little smoke. I have a sophomoric sense of humor and a knack for improv and comedy but can do it in a very believable, friendly and conversational way.

I'm intelligent, educated and a very quick thinker. I take direction well.

If you need a high energy and authoritative or natural and informative read, no problem.

I can be a very authoritative pitch man for high energy car commercials or deliver a smooth-as-silk and believable performance for educational and informational explainer work as a narrator.

In the lower octaves, I can do gravelly and smoky and deliver a read with lots of attitude and confidence. In the higher octaves I am a convincing and natural sounding, younger middle aged adult commercial voice.

As a character, I can read a script as a younger senior or I am the middle-aged guy-next-door to deliver a believable, realistic and conversational read but also have a flair for the humorous, sarcastic and over the top funny - think Animal House.

The Hard Sell

If your script requires a high energy hard sell, no problem. In another life, I spent years as a successful stockbroker pitching stocks over the phone and if it was pitchable, I've pitched it. If you need an in-your-face, close to the mic, booming and authoritative high energy read for car dealerships, radio, state fair, grand opening, casino, it comes very natural to me.

I've played a lot of football and other sports in my day and can recreate "the coach" or delivery a locker room pep speech realistically with authority and experience. If you need a toned down version of the aggressive and hard sell, just ask.

Professional and Upbeat

Should your script call for a professional and upbeat read or professional and conversational read, I have vast industry experience "in the real world" I can draw upon. I've been in board rooms and on Wall St. I can deliver you a professional read that is confident, informative and upbeat.

Commercial Work

My ability to read well on the fly allows me to provide a very natural and conversational product that works well for television. In my friendly speaking voice, I sound like the guy next door - the middle aged neighbor with a convincing yet natural style. I can "take the actor out" and read like I never spent a day in an acting class should that be what you need. My warm and friendly, conversational style is great for commercial work. Restaurant commercials, hospitals, podcasts, explainer videos, corporate videos, web videos, YouTube introductions and trailers and anything business.

Narration or Narrator

As a narrator, I can voice your audio-book, podcast, industrial, corporate or business narration project. My conversational and believable style lends itself nicely to the niche. If you need a longer format narration for audio books or e-books, I can deliver that. Since I am fairly well read and a talented writer, I have no problem with "jargon" type of narrations. I can voice your medical commercial or technical spec sheet project or read out a set of complex industrial technical instructions. I have no trouble with complex scripts.
