Hank Aaron known simply as the Hammer played for 23 years in the major leagues, still considered by many as the all time home run hit leader Aaron is one of only two players to hit 30 or more home runs in a season at least 15 times. He finished his career with 755 home runs. Born February 5th, 1934 in Mobile, Alabama. Aaron began his professional career in the ***** American League and minor league baseball. Prior to starting his major league career, he was a national league all star for 20 seasons and American League all-star for one season from 1955 through 1975. Aaron holds the record for the most seasons as an all-star and the most all-star game selections at 25. He also holds major league records for runs batted in extra base hits and total bases. In addition, he remains in the top five for career hits runs at bats and games played three times. He won a gold glove and in 1957 was the league's most valuable player leading his Milwaukee Brewers to a world Series championship.
