Cash and voucher assistance has continued to rise and rise and is now a major part of almost every humanitarian response. Since 2016, the total amount delivered to recipients has doubled to reach $5.6 billion. This was almost one-fifth of total international humanitarian assistance in 2019. And we're not just delivering more cash, we're delivering it better. 67% of practitioners interviewed for SOWC 2020 have seen improvements in quality since 2018.
