The soaring peaks of the Rockies divide clouds with their sheer height and stature. The tranquil mountain streams quietly ripple and trickle between rocks and cracks, supplying crystal clear water to the many forms of life. Throughout the expansive mountains and meadows throughout the natural beauty lies the beaten trails of culture that cherished and wandered these lands long before we did, they left nothing behind but the paths they took passed down from generation to generation and persisting to this very day. The Rockies were home to native American tribes including the Ute Arapaho, Navajo and Comanche tribes. Here. They lived from many centuries before the introduction of the Spanish settlers. A clash of difference in cultures ultimately led to the colonization of Colorado and the ejection of the native tribes into the reservations in Utah. While the tribes no longer inhabit these mountains, the lives they lived and the paths they created. Leave echoes of their history in these lands.
