Orissa Millets Mission is one of the flagship programs launched by the Department of Agriculture and Farmers Empowerment Government of Orissa. Being implemented in 142 blocks of 19 tribal and mining affected districts of Orissa, Orissa Millets Mission majorly focuses on improving millets, consumption, production and productivity, decentralization of processing facilities, marketing promoting and strengthening farmers, producer organizations and inclusion of millets in state nutrition programs. Orissa millets Mission is one of the unique programs in the country which has revived millets from farm to plate and has received many accolades from different quarters at the state, national and international level 1.18 lakh farmers have been benefited from incentives support covering 54,000 hectares during the year 2021 22 under improved agronomic practices, 119.8% increase of yield after one year of implementation of the program was found from the study conducted by Naba Krishna Choudhary Center for Development Studies. Similarly, the value of produce per farmer household has increased from rupees 3957 ₹2 12,486. Whereas value of produced per hectare has increased from rupees 9447 to 20,710 autistic. A over a period of four years. Around 94,000 farmers have been benefited from minimum support price by selling 6.39 lakh quintals of raggy through procurement center set up by the government of Orissa. I'm a group
