the Internet has been overflowing with photographs of the most interesting far off objects ever since the telescopes breathtaking. First images were released on July the 12th during the Telescopes Cosmic Evolution Early Release Science Survey, or Sears, a broad and deep Field Sky survey, the recently identified image breaking record was captured. Interestingly, the scientists that found the image weren't even aiming at the farthest, distant galaxy ever seen. Instead, researchers were collecting a list of 55 early Galaxies, 44 of which had already been discovered, to investigate how bright they were at different points after the Big Bang. To correctly calculate the red shifts, which indicate how far into space and thus how far back through time you're gazing requires thorough spectroscopic observations, either by Web spectrometers or by the ground based Alma Observatory.
