Sonny Scott is an American television journalist and actor born in Palm Springs, California. He is of Mexican and American descent with his relatives coming from Chihuahua and Coahuila, Mexico. He attended college at the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication at Arizona State University. He received a bachelor's degree in broadcast television. He has worked for NBC, CBS and PBS television networks. He now resides in sunny San Diego.
