Steven Harrell

Radio, TV-Film graduate of The University of Texas at Austin with broadcast and publishing industry experience. Years of on-air experience as a radio dj, news reporter and anchor. Hundreds of commercial announcements produced during that time. Honed my writing skills turning feature articles into blurbs and sidebars (brevity) in the magazine biz and had far too much fun performing in college and later in community theatre.
Never met a mic I didn't like and continue to enjoy any opportunity to address a crowd or peer deep into the optical prism block of a TV camera. Recently, I graduated from the Texas Auction Academy; auctioneering is a field I've always found fascinating and one in which I thought I might pick up a vocal trick or two, and did! Plus, who doesn't enjoy a good garage, estate, or equipment sale!
Passionate about children's causes having spent twenty-years in direct care, communications and marketing, fundraising and executive leadership of organizations dedicated to ending child abuse and neglect. The family and I make our home in suburban Dallas, Texas on the shores of beautiful Lake Ray Hubbard. Weekends we enjoy hiking, camping, ATV'ing and simply being with nature on our east Texas timber farm.
