Welcome to Impact Kik. Today we'll be talking about the new Star Wars movies. Ah, lot of people seem to have different opinions about the Star Wars films, but I wanted to share my own because they're very diverse in their opinions. Starting off the force Awakens was made in 2015. The force awakens, I think, was a great comeback to Star Wars. It did have a few problems like it was had some corny jokes, and it kind of resembled a new hope. And it's it's template. There were some problems with it, but I did enjoy the film, and I think it's the most approachable film for new film fans who've never seen Star Wars movie. Then, in 2016 we got Rogue one, which feels like the first war film in Star Wars like real War, which is weird because it's Star Wars. But it's a little bit of a slog in the first and the second acts. But the last act is one of my favorite acts in a film. Great finale. Ah, great balancing the scene in the hallway with Darth Vader. That was also a great scene. Our side characters are great. I really want to see. It does impartial, about que tu es o or any of the other characters. But our leads, they are two leads are not that great. The last Jet I came out in 2018 and it was a great Star Wars movie, but it had some flaws. I've changed my opinion. I did not like this movie when it first came out, but now I actually really enjoyed. I think it's a good Star Wars movie. It's not a masterpiece because it does have some flaws. But I think people slack on a little too much. Uh, sure, they may have mistreated Luke, but I think that's actually a good thing. I think it wasn't a mistreating of the character. I think it was actually a good representation of how Thio defy expectations. He's not just gonna come in to save the day with a laser sword, as he says in the film, but there are also some problems, like Canto Bight and the whole thing, where the rebel ships are trying to escape the imperial ships and the whole film is pretty much a chase movie. But it's not a chase move because it's just slow. Then the next movie. It was solo in 2018. Again. It was a mediocre action movie. It was kind of forgettable. I don't remember any of the side characters, names or the villain's name. All I remember is that Darth Maul made an appearance and I don't know why. It was kind of like they were saying Oppa sequel, but it never went anywhere. The soul was okay. It was a good seven out of 10 movie. I mean, if it's outside Star Wars, it's just a good adventure movie. But otherwise it's It's not a good Star Wars movie. Yeah, those are the Sequels, and I think they're actually pretty good. I don't think people slack on the little much and just generalize them, generalize all their emotion in one or two films in all four. Yeah, I haven't seen rise Skywalker, so I can't come into that. But these films are pretty good. They're not better than the originals. Join me next time. When I packed
