Chuck Daugherty

Hi… My name is Chuck Daugherty, and I am currently retired, but like and old fire horse, when the bell rings you still start running.
My entire professional life was spent as a stage and film actor, broadcaster, musician, and advertising executive. As such I had memberships in SAG, AFTRA, EQUITY, AGVA, and AFM. I mention these not because I would charge their rates, but to let you know I was indeed a professional.
In voice acting, I have been told I am probably the last remaining member of the original “Lone Ranger” radio shows. For several years, I also was a staff announcer for ABC Network, and on the local level, I was a radio disc jockey primarily in Detroit and Southern California. (I’m listed as a “legend’ in the Rock & Roll Hall OF Fame, I won’t bore you with details.)
VO and narration work was also a large part of my life at one time. The list includes Hanna Barbera, among others, and a lot of National ad-agency commercials for both TV and radio, including: STP Oil Treatment, Chevrolet, Dodge, Plymouth, Oldsmobile, Florida Citrus, Continental Airlines, Coca Cola, Texaco, Wrigley Gum, and many other regional and local advertisers, as well as narration for live and recorded programs for General Motors, ford, Dow Chemical, Marathon Oil, Ace Hardware, and Scotsman Ice Machines, to name a few. I also did stuff for local restaurants, auto dealers, and tuxedo shops among many others…. I also enjoy doing character voices and dialects, and having a cordial drink with a client.
