Joel Gertner

Co-host and color commentator (also previously ring announcer and manager) for Extreme Championship Wrestling on TNN and in syndication (including TV and radio ads). Prior to that, Sports Director, Talk show host, DJ and radio ad talent/production at WVBR-FM 93.5 Ithaca. Portrayed an "Olympic Penmanship" play-by-play announcer/analyst in "Bored Of The Rings," a short film that was a Festival submission which included ADR/post-production. Have extensive newsroom and on-camera news skills and background as part of completion of Bachelor's Degree in TV/Radio. Studied and received continuing education at Connecticut School of Broadcasting. Also took TV/Radio 101 at Ithaca College while studying at Cornell University. Joel has a loyal and supportive fanbase from his 23 years in pro wrestling, and thousands of them are active daily followers and contributors across the various platforms of his social media network.
