Troubleshooting Payment Failures

Troubleshooting Payment Failure

Failed payments sometimes happen and are usually very easy to fix. Here are a few proven strategies for fixing payment issues:

  1. Call the bank. Payments made online for large purchases or on websites you haven't used before might be blocked by your bank for security reasons. Get in touch with your provider and ask them to approve payments from Voices.com.
  2. Rewrite your card details. To complete this step click on the Hire button next to the Talent you'd like to hire, scroll to "Use New Card" and click on this option. This will make the fields editable so you can erase and rewrite the details and ensure they are correct.
  3. Clear your cookies and cache. You can typically complete this action in your browser settings, but the specific instructions will change based on your browser:
  4. Use the most up to date version of your browser. If you're not sure how to verify this, here are the instructions for the most common browser types:
  5. Restart your device. Turn your device off and back on again to ensure all updates and changes have been applied.
  6. Using AMEX. If you are using an AMEX card, please ensure you are using the 4 digit CVV located on the front of your card.
  7. Using PayPal as a Guest. Try making the payment through PayPal. You can do so as a Guest and don't need an account. Simply select the PayPal option, input your email address, and you will be brought to the checkout screen.
  8. Invoicing Options. After trying the above troubleshooting steps, if you are still unable to make your purchase, you can contact your Account Manager or Support to discuss invoicing. You can find your designated Account Manager contact on your Homepage when logged in.
